Business Innovation

The value and benefit of applying Resource Efficiency methodology is at the heart of many BSA programs. But the BSA with the help of Innovate SA also recognise that Resource (or Operational) Efficiency should be considered as an ENABLER to wider business value.

To support this approach the BSA run a series of Good Business seminars and workshops to help business to leverage the wider value creation drivers that enable adaption strategies to guide business to prosper within an increasingly resource constrained economy.

The Business Case for Sustainability
The BSA has identified 10 value creation drivers for sustainability.

  1. Operational Efficiency
  2. Risk Management and Compliance
  3. Branding and Market Position
  4. Product and Service Innovation
  5. Community Acceptance and Partnerships
  6. Corporate Governance and Investor Relations
  7. Supply Chain Management
  8. Access to Financial Capital and Investment
  9. People and Performance
  10. Protection and Restoration of Natural Capital

To understand more on creating plans and strategies to create business value from sustainability initiatives, the BSA run a short seminar series for business executives.
