REAP
REAP (Resource Efficiency Assistance Program) can help many businesses understand the need to improve their triple bottom line – financial, environmental and social outcomes. Your business may be working on this, but lacks capital, staff capacity and time to establish and build the skills or develop a detailed environmental strategy. REAP can help.
The Resource Challenge
Developing sustainable business is first and foremost about the way we use our resources.
Improving resource efficiency is central to sustainable future prosperity. Your market and
community expect competitive prices, better social and environmental outcomes. Materials,
equipment use, energy, water and waste products affect profit and future viability.
Using less more efficiently saves outlay, rework and waste, it is kinder to the environment and provides real opportunities for employee involvement. This not only makes sense; in the longer term it makes good business sense.
