Clean Technology Program
The $1.2 billion AusIndustry Clean Technology Program will provide support for manufacturers through three components.
While a carbon price will provide incentives for these manufacturers to reduce energy consumption, the Government will also help manufacturing businesses invest in energy efficient equipment, processes and products to reduce their exposure to changing electricity prices.

Commercialisation Australia
Commercialisation Australia is an Australian Government assistance program for commercialisation. It is a competitive program designed to assist researchers, individuals and innovative companies to convert clearly identified ideas into successful commercial ventures.
Assistance can include;
- Grants up to $50,000 to access specialist advice and services to gain skills and knowledge required to successfully commercialise new ideas. Participant contributes 20%
- Grants up to $350,000 over two years to engage experienced executives. Participant contributes 50%
- Grants from $50,000 up to $250,000 to verify the commercial viability of a new product, process or service. Participant contributes 50%
- Grants from $50,000 up to $2 million to further develop a new product, process or service so it can be ready for market. Participant contributes 50%
Applicants are not eligible if combined annual income is more than $50 million or in some cases, more than $10 million.

TradeStart
TradeStart provides free services to assist businesses to enter export markets. Tradestart provides services for market research, training and practical support including:
• Identifying target markets
• Providing information from Austrade staff in the export market
• Arranging business meetings in export markets
To be eligible, businesses must not have gained revenue from the same export market over the last three years.

Export Market Development Grant (EMDG)
The Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) supports Australian businesses to develop export markets by reimbursing up to 50 per cent of expenses incurred on eligible export promotion activities.
To be eligible for consideration, the business must have income of not more than $50 million and need to have spent $10,000 over two years on eligible export marketing expenses.

Researchers in Business
Researchers in Business is an Australian Government initiative to assist business with the cost of accessing the time and expertise of external researchers to help develop a new idea with commercial potential.
Funding is provided for up to $50,000 for 50 per cent of salary costs for between 2 and 12 months.
Applicants must have annual income of over $1 million and under $100 million and have been trading for the last three years.

Tailored Advisory Service (TAS) grant
The Tailored Advisory Service (TAS) grant provides half the cost, up to $20,000, for engaging consultants to make improvements that have been identified by a free Enterprise Connect Business Review.
Eligibility for an Enterprise Connect Business Review & TAS Grant is restricted to certain industry sectors and by a minimum annual income requirement that varies depending on location and industry sector.
Businesses with annual income over $100 million are not eligible.
